Park before the fevers

There was a grand plan in order, rushed to be put together the moment before we left. We would go to the park for a couple hours, spending the time drawing what we saw in front of us, learning the difference between a landscape and a still life.
We found parking and headed to the Timkin to get a quick lesson in painting before heading out into the park to find some inspiration. Sadie loves the Botanical House, this was our first stop for drawing. Both girls finally settled into drawing something they found interesting. After a bit of a stay, we walked over to a different garden to sit and enjoy the sun and some more drawing. After going through all of the snacks, Emma's complaints of not feeling well were more than could be quelled by snacks so we walked back to the car and headed home, a bit shy of what we set out to find and do but with enough to call it a success.
Then the fevers ensued...
but five days later we are better now.
