windy, no school for Avery, hot, and out of the ordinary in many ways, so we went to the beach after a glowing teacher conference. The waves were wild, the wind blew sand in our faces and felt like pins against our legs. The planes slid in the opposite way and made a sight at the beach. Piles of leaves, branches and palm fronds accumulate at the base of most everything that stands in way of the wind. The dog got a bath. Sadie got out early. See, it was an out of the ordinary kind of day.
