Emma had a great tournament on Saturday. 14 of 17 serves in play! And successfully operated the scoreboard, after the Ocelots went 3-0 to win the event.

Farm visit for picking, etc.

We went to Stehly Farm in Valley Center (source of our current CSA box) for their strawberry picking day. The weather was perfect, playground was fun, petting zoo was tame, food was good, and we were joined by Nana and Papa. Only one kid barfed in the car. A good day!

I passed out magnifying glasses as well for them to check out who they could find creeping around and pulled out the worm house so they could find a worm to befriend or as some boys decided "have a battle with a rolly …

Saturday Night Funtastic

Image
A rare-ish weekend with no formal activities. Kids were all also finally mostly over sicknesses. So, we ventured out amongst Joe Public. Dinner and mini golf (+arcade). Fun family night.
