Grammy's here!

Grammy has come to visit for the last week. She and Sadie have read a million books and have decided that Sadie could start her own library. We have not been out doing much but hanging around the house and going for walks seems to fill the days and all of a sudden it is midnight again. Sadie met a neighbor boy about her age and they played bubbles yesterday. She had a lot of fun. She and Grammy also found some caterpillars, worms and squirrel footprints while on their walk.

Barnum and Bailey here we come...

Daddy and Sadie go see the Big Top... Posted by Hello

This Friday was Big Top day as Nathan whisked Sadie out of bed and off to the circus, after a argument about getting dressed of course. But she loved it and sat on the edge of her seat the entire show. I asked her what her favorite part of the show was, and after a few pensive moments she replied "The Tigers!" (Actually, she first said "the spinner" pictured above.)

Here are some more shots of Sadie enjoying the show...

Also, here is a cutie of Daddy and Emma.

Little E is starting to coo and gives a bit of a smile every once in awhile. One of her favorite spots is on the changing table where she can see the windows and the trees outside. She really enjoys a stroll to the mail box, where she can lay in my arms looking up at the trees against the sky.

In other news, we made our way to Charter Day in town where there was a street fair to celebrate. We made our way thru the crowds while Sadie collected balloons from the booths and Emma slept in her stroller. It was nice to be outside in the sun for the afternoon. That was our weekend...but Grammy arrives tomorrow at midnight for a long week of visiting. There is more fun in store!

Nana and Papa come to visit...

Sadie and Emma Posted by Hello

Nana and Papa were out for a visit this past week. So we have some new shots of the girls. Sadie really likes playing with Emma and had fun yesterday giving Emma a bottle with Daddy.
Everyone keeps asking if two is harder than one and the answer is a resounding yes. I find myself in survival mode; the dishes can stay dirty, the floors unvaccumed, and with each day it becomes more managable and things get done. Being a mom is a great job and as I was told, the hardest thing I have ever done.

There is something about NJ and wild turkeys...

Okay, this might be one of the weirdest news stories ever. Nathan heard on the radio that New Jersey was having a problem with wild turkeys harrassing people! What?! Ok that is out there.

I took these a few days ago. Thanks to the high tech camera most of them are out of focus but some turned out cute anyway.
